- Birthdate calculated from depositions taken in 1824 stating that the grandfather Athanasius Greenwell did not plan to leave anything in his will for his daughter, and son-in-law John Tennison, or their children. I internpate this to mean that the grandchildren were still under age.
Jan. 22, 1845 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. will of Athanatius E. Tennison [son of John Tennison and Matilda Greenwell], probated ________ (probate date not given but filed with 1848 probates), leaves to mother Matilda Yates, all of my estate of whatever kind which is to be held in trust by my brother, William Henry Tennison during the life of my father-in-law [step-father], John G. Yates and after his death to be paid to her.
Executor: brother William Henry Tennison.
Witnesses: John A. Greenwell, Leonard F. Herbert.
