"Elizabeth was married in June 1820 to Azariah Dennis in said county and continued to live with him in Overton County unto 17 June 1826 when she left him because of his cruel treatment towards her. When she married said Dennis she had considerable sums of money, but he has spent it. She wants yhe marriage annulled and to "be restore to all rights and immunities and to "be restored to all rights and immunities incident to a state of celibacy." |
